These blessings are not self-sustaining. Every generation must understand them, steward them faithfully, and pass them to the next.


Unfortunately, many Americans graduate from school knowing very little about our nation's founding, constitutional government, or the responsibilities that accompany freedom.


The American Steward exists to help change that.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Wesley G. King is the founder of The American Steward, a Christian civic-education platform created to help Americans better understand their history, constitutional government, and responsibilities as citizens.


With a background in biblical studies, ministry, communication, and educational content, Wesley has spent years writing, teaching, and speaking about faith, liberty, leadership, culture, and the principles that sustain a free society.


He founded The American Steward from a growing conviction that too many Americans have inherited extraordinary freedoms without being taught where those freedoms came from, how their government works, or what is required to preserve them.


His goal is to create clear, trustworthy, and accessible resources that help families, churches, students, educators, and everyday citizens become better informed and more faithful stewards of the nation they have inherited.


Wesley also leads Hard Way Wisdom, his personal platform for Christian commentary, teaching, writing, and cultural engagement. He lives in Pensacola, Florida, with his wife, Olivia, and their family.
